Already have the camper? Perfect. Beachy Keen is our “you bring it, you park it, we’ve got the good stuff waiting” Gulf Shores RV site life.
Beachy Keen is Lot 52 at our gated RV Resort in Gulf Shores. Unlike Shell Yeah! and Crabby Paddy, there is no RV included with this stay—you bring your own camper.
Pull in, get settled, hook up and start vacationing.
Your site includes 30/50-amp electric service, water and sewer hookups, with utilities included. No separate electric bill waiting to ruin the mood.
You bring the RV. We provide the spot and the setup that makes it feel like a vacation instead of just somewhere you parked your camper.
Outside — Because a Bare RV Pad Is Just Sad
Beachy Keen is already set up with the outdoor extras so you don't have to drag half your garage to Alabama.
You’ll have a firepit, Adirondack chairs, Large Shade umbrella, picnic table an with umbrella and a covered gas grill, giving you your own outdoor space for morning coffee, dinner off the grill, evenings around the fire or sitting outside doing absolutely nothing.
Fire up the grill. Pull up a chair. Light the firepit when conditions allow. Pour something cold.
You brought the camper. We handled the hangout.
You’ll also have access to the amenities at the RV Resort, including the resort-style pool, dog park, playground and laundry and shower facilities.
Beach Days, Games & the Fun Stuff
You're in Gulf Shores. Obviously, you're going to need beach stuff
We also provide yard games and outdoor entertainment for hanging around the campsite.
Beach day? Grab your gear and go. You are only 5 minutes to the sandy white beach!
Pool day? We've got you. Hit the resort pool and bask in the Sun loungers or swim to your hearts content.
Campfire night? Pull up a chair.
Doing absolutely nothing all afternoon because you're on vacation? Excellent choice.
Bringing Your Furry Freeloader?
Absolutely—approved pets are welcome, but they need to be included in your reservation and approved before arrival.
The RV Resort allows a maximum of two pets per RV. Applicable pet fees must be paid, and all resort pet rules apply.
Pets must remain leashed and under your control at all times, and pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of immediately. Excessive barking or nuisance behavior is not permitted.
Pets are NOT permitted in resort buildings or the pool area.
The RV Resort also has breed restrictions that we are required to follow. Prohibited breeds include Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Doberman Pinschers, Staffordshire Terriers, Bulldogs, Wolf/Wolf hybrids, Mastiffs and German Shepherds.
We didn't make the naughty list, and unfortunately, we can't override it.
Before You Bring the Camper — Size Does Matter
Because Beachy Keen is a bring-your-own-RV site, your camper must meet the RV Resort's requirements.
Permitted units include Class A, Class B, Class C and Super C motorhomes, fifth wheels and travel trailers that are at least 22 feet long and 15 years old or newer.
RVs older than 15 years require management approval, and all RVs must be clean, well-maintained and presentable.
Only one camping unit per site is permitted.
No tents, pop-up campers or FEMA trailers.
If you're unsure whether your RV qualifies, contact us BEFORE booking.
Please don't haul Cousin Eddie's 1987 beauty all the way to Gulf Shores and ask us to sweet-talk the resort when you arrive.
Parking — The Camper Is Already Big Enough
In addition to your RV, the site allows two vehicles and one golf cart, provided everything fits properly within the site.
All vehicles and golf carts must remain completely within your site. No street parking, except temporarily while hooking or unhooking your tow vehicle.
The resort speed limit is 5 MPH.
Yep. Five.
You're here to slow down anyway. Consider it mandatory relaxation.
Golf-cart drivers must have a valid driver's license/permit and follow all resort traffic rules.
Keep It Cute, Keep It Clean
The RV Resort is clean and well maintained, and guests are expected to keep their site that way.
Nothing may be hung outside your RV or around the campsite. Please don't attach, string, hang or display items around the site that aren't permitted by resort rules.
Personal belongings should remain neat, contained and within your site.
And this one is important:
NO TRASH may be left outside, underneath or around your RV.
All garbage goes directly into the resort dumpsters.
This is coastal Alabama. Leaving trash outside isn't just messy—it's basically sending the local wildlife a notification that their DoorDash order has arrived.
Take it to the dumpster.
Shhh… Some People Are Actually Sleeping
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Sit outside. Have a drink. Laugh. Play games. Enjoy the firepit. Solve all the world's problems.
At 10 PM, just solve them a little quieter.
Music should remain at a reasonable level during the day and be turned off during quiet hours.
Pool Time — Because You Didn't Come Here to Work on Your Backstroke in the Bathtub
Beachy Keen guests have access to the RV Resort pool.
Pool hours are 7:00 AM–10:00 PM CST, and children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult age 18 or older.
No pets, glass containers, scooters, bicycles or skateboards are permitted in the pool area. Small floats, balls and appropriate pool toys are allowed. Food should remain outside the pool enclosure in the designated eating areas.
Gates, Pools & The Secret Codes
The RV Resort is gated, and gate and pool access codes are not published online for security reasons.
You'll receive the codes and access information you need at check-in, and they'll also be included in your Welcome Book.
Please do not share or post resort access codes.
We like our gates secured and our pool limited to people who are actually supposed to be swimming in it.
The Welcome Book — Yep, Beachy Keen Has One Too
Even though you're bringing your own RV, please keep these rules with you so you are aware of the rules when you arrive.
Your Camper, Our Site — Here's Who Handles What
Because you are bringing your own RV, you are responsible for your camper and its systems, including its appliances, plumbing, electrical system, slides, leveling system, tanks and other personal equipment.
But if something isn't right with our site, tell us.
Having trouble with the electrical pedestal, water connection, sewer hookup, grill, outdoor equipment or something else we provide? Contact us right away.
Please do not attempt to repair, alter, open or modify resort or site utility equipment yourself.
If it's ours, call us.
If it's your RV, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting or arranging repair—but we're still happy to help point you in the right direction when we can.
We want you enjoying Beachy Keen, not spending your vacation staring angrily at an electrical pedestal.
Tropical Weather — Mother Nature Occasionally Gets an Attitude
This is the Gulf Coast, and tropical weather is part of life here.
If a tropical storm, hurricane or significant weather event is approaching, we may come onto the site to secure our outdoor furniture, umbrella, grill, firepit accessories, games and other Beachy Keen property.
We will communicate with you whenever reasonably possible, but safety and protecting the property come first.
Please do not put our items back outside until we give you the all-clear.
If we're running around your campsite hauling Adirondack chairs away, we're not redecorating.
We're trying to keep them from becoming airborne.
Your RV + Tropical Weather — This Part Is Important
Because Beachy Keen is a bring-your-own-RV site, you are responsible for your RV and all of your personal property during severe weather.
You are responsible for monitoring weather conditions and deciding when it is necessary to secure, relocate or evacuate your RV and personal belongings.
If tropical or severe weather is approaching, please don't wait until the wind is howling to make a plan.
Any awnings, outdoor rugs, chairs, decorations, toys, canopies or other personal items that could become airborne should be properly secured or put away.
We secure our stuff. You secure yours. Mother Nature gets no vote.
Weather & Refunds — The Not-So-Fun Fine Print
Gulf Coast weather can change quickly, and unfortunately, we don't control Mother Nature.
We do not provide refunds, credits or discounts due to rain, storms, tropical weather, unfavorable forecasts, beach conditions, red flags, pool closures or other weather-related circumstances.
If an official mandatory evacuation order affects the property, we'll follow applicable emergency requirements and the cancellation/refund terms of your reservation.
We strongly recommend travel insurance, particularly during hurricane season, to protect your vacation investment.
One Last Thing…
Beachy Keen is for people who already have the camper and just need a great place to park the darn thing.
You've already got the RV.
We've got the 30/50-amp service, water, sewer, utilities, outdoor setup, grill, firepit, and resort amenities waiting for you.
So bring your camper, your people, your approved furry freeloader and your vacation attitude.
Back it in. Hook it up. Sit your butt down.
You're officially Beachy Keen.
Crabby Paddy is our “I want the camping experience, but I have absolutely no intention of roughing it” kind of camping.
She’s a 2021 Grand Design Solitude S-Class 2930RL fifth wheel, fully set up and waiting for you at the RV Resort in Gulf Shores. No towing it. No leveling it. No hookups. No backing up a fifth wheel while one person yells “YOUR OTHER LEFT!” and the other starts reconsidering the entire vacation.
You just show up, unpack and start vacationing.
Crabby Paddy sleeps up to 4 guests and has three slide-outs, giving you plenty of room to spread out. Inside you’ll find a private queen bedroom, full bathroom, additional fold-out sleeping space, spacious living area, fireplace, comfortable seating, kitchen island, full kitchen, dining area, Wi-Fi, TVs and plenty of storage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, appliances, coffee setup and everyday basics. We’ve also stocked plenty of those little “dang it, I wish they had…” things—because nobody wants to spend the first afternoon of vacation wandering through Walmart looking for a can opener.
Outside — Where Camping Actually Happens
Your site is set up so you can actually sit outside, relax and enjoy being at the campground instead of dragging half your garage to Alabama.
Crabby Paddy’s outdoor setup includes two firepits, so you’ve got options depending on whether the evening calls for kicking back around the fire or just enjoying your outdoor space. There’s outdoor seating, Adirondack chairs, a picnic table, large shade umbrella, BBQ pit to grill, and plenty of room to settle in with a cold drink and enjoy those Gulf Coast evenings.
We’ve tried to make the outside just as comfortable as the inside—because if you came all the way to Gulf Shores just to sit inside an RV, we need to have a little talk.
Fire up the grill. Pull up a chair. Light the firepit when conditions allow. Sit outside way too late solving problems nobody asked you to solve.
The hard part is already set up. You just have to sit your butt down and enjoy it.
You’ll also have access to the amenities at the RV Resort, including the resort-style pool, dog park, shower facilities, playground and laundry facilities.
You get the fun and atmosphere of camping without having to tow, park, level, hook up or break down a camper.
Camping without the camping work. We highly recommend it.
Beach Days, Games & the Fun Stuff
Heading to the beach? Don’t fill your car with half the sporting-goods aisle—we’ve already got you covered.
Crabby Paddy comes stocked with beach chairs, beach gear, coolers, beach toys and plenty of extras to help you get from campsite to toes-in-the-sand without buying a bunch of stuff you'll use twice and somehow have to cram back into the car.
Hanging around the campsite? We’ve got yard games, outdoor games, cards and other entertainment for that too.
Beach day? Grab the gear and go.
Staying in? Break out the games.
Sitting around one of the firepits doing absolutely nothing? Also a perfectly acceptable vacation activity.
We stock the fun stuff because vacation should be about making memories—not spending your first afternoon at Walmart buying beach chairs, coolers and a bunch of stuff you really didn’t want to buy in the first place.
Basically, bring your swimsuit, sunscreen and competitive streak. We’ve already handled a whole lot of the rest.
Bringing Your Furry Freeloader?
Absolutely—approved pets are welcome, but they need to be part of the reservation, not a surprise passenger who pops out of the back seat at check-in.
The RV Resort allows a maximum of two pets per RV. All pets must be disclosed and approved before arrival, and applicable pet fees must be paid.
Pets must remain leashed and under your control at all times, and pet waste must be picked up and properly disposed of immediately. Excessive barking or nuisance behavior is not permitted.
Pets are NOT permitted in resort buildings or the pool area.

We didn’t make the naughty list, and unfortunately, we can’t override it.
Parking — Two Cars. Let’s Not Start a Dealership.
Crabby Paddy allows two vehicles at the site, in addition to the RV. A golf cart may also be kept at the site in accordance with resort rules.
All vehicles and golf carts must remain completely within your site. No street parking, except temporarily while hooking or unhooking a tow vehicle.
The resort speed limit is 5 MPH.
Yep. Five.
This is an RV Resort, not Talladega.
Golf-cart drivers must have a valid driver’s license/permit and follow resort traffic rules.
Keep It Cute, Keep It Clean
The RV Resort is a clean, quiet resort, and we’d like to stay on speaking terms with our neighbors.
Nothing may be hung outside the RV or around the campsite. Please keep personal belongings neat, contained and within the site.
And this one is important:
NO TRASH may be left outside, underneath or around the RV.
All garbage needs to go directly into the resort dumpsters.
Besides being a resort rule, this is coastal Alabama. Leaving garbage outside is basically hanging a neon sign that says:
WILDLIFE DOOR DASH — FREE DELIVERY.
Please don’t.
Shhh… Some People Are Actually Sleeping
Quiet hours are 10:00 PM–7:00 AM.
Sit outside. Have a drink. Laugh. Enjoy your evening. Solve all the world’s problems around the campsite.
At 10 PM, just solve them a little quieter.
Music should remain at a reasonable level during the day and be turned off during quiet hours.
Pool Time — Because You’re on Vacation
Crabby Paddy guests have access to the RV Resort pool.
You’ll receive the codes and access information you need at check-in, and they’ll also be included in your Welcome Book.
Please do not share or post resort access codes.
We like our gates secured and our pool limited to people who are actually supposed to be swimming in it.
The Welcome Book — Yes, You Actually Need to Read This One
We know. Nobody goes on vacation excited to read instructions.
But Crabby Paddy is an RV, not a hotel room, and her Welcome Book is required reading.
We’ve put a lot of time into it so you don’t have to figure things out the hard way. It includes resort rules, gate and pool codes, Wi-Fi information, check-in and checkout instructions, safety information, how to operate Crabby Paddy’s systems and appliances, troubleshooting tips, and plenty of “what do I do if…” answers.
Wondering how something works? Welcome Book.
Something starts beeping? Welcome Book.
Can’t figure out a switch? Welcome Book.
Need the gate or pool code? Welcome Book.
Not sure what you’re allowed to do at the resort?
You guessed it. Welcome Book.
Please take a few minutes to read it when you arrive and BEFORE operating anything you’re unfamiliar with.
RVs have electrical, plumbing and mechanical systems that work differently from a traditional house. Knowing how things operate can save you frustration and help prevent accidental damage.
We’ve included troubleshooting instructions for many common RV quirks, so check the Welcome Book first.
Still having trouble?
CALL OR MESSAGE US.
Please don’t start flipping random breakers, forcing something that isn’t moving, pushing mystery buttons or taking anything apart.
The Welcome Book is there to help you. We’re the backup when the book doesn’t.
Think of it as Crabby Paddy’s instruction manual, resort survival guide and “before you touch that, read this” handbook all rolled into one.
RVs Are Awesome. RVs Are Also… RVs.
Crabby Paddy is a beautiful, comfortable fifth wheel.
She’s also still an RV.
And sometimes RVs wake up and choose drama.
A breaker can trip. Something can beep. An appliance may need a reset. A toilet may suddenly have opinions. A plumbing fixture or electrical system may behave differently than what you’re used to at home.
If something isn’t working:
First: Check the Welcome Book. There’s a good chance we’ve already included the answer.
Second: Follow the troubleshooting instructions provided. Please don’t improvise repairs, force anything or start experimenting with switches and breakers.
Third: Still not working? Contact us.
Seriously.
Don’t spend three hours Googling it. Don’t start taking things apart. And please don’t live without something for three days because you “didn’t want to bother us.”
Bother us. That’s literally what we’re here for.
Many RV quirks are simple fixes, and we’d much rather help immediately than learn after checkout that you spent half your vacation arguing with something we could have helped you fix in 30 seconds.
If something actually requires repair, we’ll work to get it addressed as quickly as reasonably possible.
Read first. Troubleshoot second. Call us third. Start dismantling Crabby Paddy never.
Tropical Weather — Mother Nature Occasionally Gets an Attitude
This is the Gulf Coast, and tropical weather is part of life here.
If a tropical storm, hurricane or significant weather event is approaching, we may need to come onto the site to secure Crabby Paddy and the outdoor area.
That may mean removing or securing outdoor furniture, umbrellas, décor, firepit accessories, grill items, rugs, games and anything else that could become airborne in high winds.
We’ll communicate with you whenever reasonably possible, but safety and protecting the property come first.
Please do not put anything back outside until we give you the all-clear.
If we’re running around your campsite hauling patio furniture while you’re on vacation, we haven’t lost our minds.
We’re trying to prevent an Adirondack chair from becoming a projectile.

We strongly recommend travel insurance, particularly during hurricane season. It’s the best way to protect your vacation investment when weather or another unexpected event interferes with your plans.
Mother Nature doesn’t give us refunds either.
One Last Thing…
Crabby Paddy was created for people who want the fun of an RV vacation without actually having to do all the work that comes with an RV vacation.
She’s already parked.
She’s already hooked up.
She’s stocked.
The A/C is ready.
The fireplace is waiting if you somehow manage to get chilly in Alabama.
The pool is nearby.
So bring your clothes, your people, your approved furry freeloader and your vacation attitude.
We’ve handled the rest.
And if Crabby Paddy suddenly starts beeping, blinking or doing something that makes you say, “What the hell is THAT?”
Read the Welcome Book.
Still doing it?
Call us.
We’d much rather help you fix a little RV attitude than let Crabby Paddy live up to her name.
Shell Yeah! is our “I want to camp, but I also enjoy air-conditioning, indoor plumbing and sleeping in an actual king-size bed” kind of camping.
She’s a 2021 Thor Palazzo 36.3 diesel pusher motorhome, fully set up and waiting for you. No driving it. No leveling it. No hookups. No backing a giant motorhome into a campsite while your spouse gives increasingly aggressive hand signals.
You just show up, unpack and start vacationing.
Shell Yeah! sleeps up to 5-6 guests and gives you plenty of room to spread out with multiple slide-outs, a king-size bedroom, 1½ bathrooms, additional sleeping space, reclining seating, fireplace, TVs, Wi-Fi, washer & dryer, dining/work area and outdoor entertainment.
The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware, dishes, utensils, appliances, coffee setup and everyday basics. We’ve also stocked plenty of those little “dang it, I wish they had…” things—because vacation should not begin with a three-hour Walmart scavenger hunt.
Outside — Where Camping Actually Happens
Step outside and you’ve got your own space to kick back and enjoy those Gulf Coast evenings with outdoor seating, 2 firepits, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, outdoor heater, umbrella and grill.
You’ll also have access to the amenities at the resort, including the resort-style pool, dog park, playground, shower and laundry facilities.
You get the camping atmosphere without having to own, tow, park, level, connect or dump anything.
That’s our kind of roughing it.

Speaking of Buttons… About That Overhead Bunk
You’ll notice Shell Yeah! has a powered overhead bunk above the cab.
Guests may NOT raise, lower or operate the bunk mechanism for ANY reason.
The bunk must remain exactly where we have it positioned throughout your stay.
RV bunk systems contain motors, tracks, wiring and safety components that can be damaged surprisingly easily.
Please don’t push the buttons, experiment with it or decide you’re curious about how it works.
If you believe anything involving the bunk needs attention, contact us and we’ll handle it.
Vacation is a great time to push your limits. Just not that button.

Read the Welcome Book.
Still beeping?

And whatever you do…
DON’T PUSH THE BUNK BUTTON.
Resting Beach Face is our “bring the whole crew and actually have room for them” Gulf Shores beach house. It sleeps up to 10 guests with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, two king beds, two full bunks and two twins.
Inside, you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, Wi-Fi, 55” TVs in every bedroom, and a dedicated home office with a sit/stand desk, monitor, keyboard and printer. We’ve also stocked plenty of those little “dang it, I wish they had…” things—because buying a whole bottle of something you forgot is not how anyone wants to start vacation.
Outside is where the fun really starts: screened-in patio with TV and mini bar, firepit with Adirondack chairs, hammock, BBQ grill, picnic table, cornhole and yard games.
Bringing the tiny humans? We’ve got Pack ’n Plays, a high chair, kid-friendly dishes, beach toys, games and plenty of family-friendly extras.
Beach day? Grab the chairs, beach tent, wagon, coolers, toys, kites, skim boards, floaties and more. The beach is about 6 blocks away, and Resting Beach Face is just steps from one of Rookery III’s two resort-style pools.
Bringing a Furry Family Memeber?
We welcome approved pets, but they need to be part of the reservation—not a surprise passenger who pops out of the back seat at check-in.
All pets must be approved by us in advance and registered with Rookery III before arrival. Applicable pet fees must be paid, and all community pet rules apply.
Once you arrive, your pet must wear the required Rookery III pet sleeve while outdoors, remain properly controlled/leashed, and you must pick up and dispose of waste immediately. There’s conveniently a pet-waste station right across the parking lot.
Pets are NOT allowed in the pool areas or clubhouse. Rookery III takes this one seriously, so please don’t make your dog be the reason everybody learns what the HOA fine schedule looks like.
Before You Arrive — Everybody Gets Registered
Rookery III requires guest, vehicle and approved-pet registration before arrival.
You’ll need to register your party through the Rookery III COA website before check-in. Please complete this when we send your pre-arrival information rather than waiting until you’re pulling into the neighborhood.
Every guest and vehicle needs to be properly registered, and approved pets must be registered as well.
Parking — Small Lot- Big Feelings! Read This One Before You Bring the Caravan
Resting Beach Face has two assigned parking spaces marked 4010. Your parking passes will be waiting for you inside the house and must be placed in your vehicles upon arrival. Please do not park in any other parking spot. They are all reserved. We love our neighbors. Our neighbors love us. Let's not ruin a beautiful thing by putting your Buick in Brenda's parking spot.
Need a third vehicle? That requires advance approval and an additional $115 parking fee. Third-vehicle parking is first-come, first-served and is NOT guaranteed, so please contact us well in advance and definitely before arrival.
Boats and trailers are not permitted unless specifically approved in writing. Vehicles without the proper parking pass or vehicles parked in unauthorized spaces may be ticketed or towed.
Translation: two cars = easy. More than two = talk to us first.
A Little Note About Your Neighbors—Not Brenda- but the Wild Ones
Here’s something pretty cool about Resting Beach Face: the home sits alongside a wildlife preserve. That means you may get to see some of Alabama’s local wildlife during your stay.
It also means KEEP THE DOORS CLOSED. Not All wildlife is cute and cuddly!
Leaving exterior doors open is basically sending the wildlife an engraved invitation that says, “Come on in, make yourself comfortable.” Bugs, lizards, snakes, and other local critters live here—we don't.
Please do not feed, approach, touch or attempt to relocate wildlife. Admire it from a safe distance and give it plenty of room.
We do our part with regular property maintenance and pest control, but this is coastal Alabama next to a wildlife preserve. Keeping doors and screens closed is your best defense against bringing a little too much nature into your vacation. Also, it is extremely important that you NEVER leave your trash outdoors. TAKE IT TO THE DUMPSTER- steps from the house. The Wildlife is in no need of a readily available Door Dash. And you will not be ready to see the Scene from the Door Dash Delivery.
One Last Thing…
Resting Beach Face isn't just somewhere to sleep between beach trips. We've tried to create the kind of place where you can show up, unpack and start vacationing.
So bring your clothes, your people, your approved furry freeloader and your vacation attitude.
We’ve already handled most of the “dang it, I wish they had…” stuff.
And please handle the registration before you get here. We can stock a ridiculous amount of vacation gear, but we cannot sweet-talk the HOA for you.
Pick your vacation personality! Resting Beach Face is our 3-bedroom beach house that sleeps up to 10. Shell Yeah! and Crabby Paddy are our fully set-up Stationary Resort RV stays—just show up, unpack, and start vacationing. And bringing your own camper? Beachy Keen is our RV lot where you bring it, park it, and let the good times roll.
Easy peasy. Book right here on our website to see real-time availability, choose your stay, and lock in your dates. Booking direct also means you can skip those pesky third-party fees. More money for seafood and beach drinks. You’re welcome.
Yep—but your four-legged diva needs approval first. Pet rules and fees vary by stay, so tell us who’s coming when you book. Leashes on, poop picked up, community rules followed. Basically: if your pet behaves better than your friends, we’re good.
One little buzzkill we don’t get a vote on: our communities have breed restrictions that we’re required to follow. Please check the restricted-breed list below before booking. If you’re unsure whether your furry freeloader qualifies, message us first—we’d much rather figure it out before vacation day than at check-in.
RV RESORT PET RULES (Shell Yeah!, Crabby Paddy, Beachy Keen)
We love pets, but the RV Resort has community rules that we do not get to override:
Maximum of 2 pets per RV
Pets must be on a leash and under your control at ALL TIMES
Pets are not permitted in buildings or the pool area
Pet waste must be picked up immediately and disposed of properly
Excessive barking or nuisance behavior is not permitted
Aggressive or prohibited dogs may be required to leave the resort
Restricted breeds: Pit Bulls, Rottweilers, Chow Chows, Presa Canarios, Akitas, Doberman Pinschers, Staffordshire Terriers, Bulldogs, Wolf and Wolf hybrids, Mastiffs, and German Shepherds.
Yep—we know. Some perfectly lovely pups made the naughty list, and we didn’t make the list. These are the resorts rules, and we are required to follow them. If it were up to us, we would say, "Bring 'em all!"
Resting Beach Face: If your dog(s) are well behaved, Registered online with the HOA, Fees paid. Leash Sleeve on leash and all the pet rules followed, you're in the clear.
More than you want to pack. Linens, stocked kitchens, Wi-Fi, beach gear, outdoor goodies and plenty of “SHELL YEAH, they have one!” extras. Each stay has its own perks, so check the listing for the full haul. Basically, pack your clothes, your swimsuit and your questionable vacation decisions and we’ve got the rest.
Pretty freaking fast. Resting Beach Face is about 6 blocks from the beach—roughly 180 seconds. Shell Yeah!, Crabby Paddy and Beachy Keen are only 5 minutes to the amazing white sands! Translation: sunscreen on, flip-flops grabbed, beach mode activated.
Because the little things matter—and we actually pay attention to them. Our stays are thoughtfully stocked, comfortably furnished, and loaded with the extras that make vacation feel like vacation. We’re real owners, real hosts, and real people who care about your experience from booking to checkout. No cookie-cutter stays. No corporate blah-blah. Just great places, thoughtful touches, and a host who genuinely gives a flip-flop.
Resting Beach Face: You have two assigned parking spaces marked 4010. Parking passes must be displayed in your vehicles. They will be waiting for you on the counter next to the bottle of wine. Bringing a third vehicle? It must be approved and paid for in advance. Third-vehicle parking is $115, first-come/first-served, and not guaranteed. All guests, and Vehicles must be registered online prior to arrival. Boats and trailers are not permitted unless approved in writing. Vehicles without a pass or parked where they shouldn’t be may be ticketed or towed—and that’s a lousy way to spend vacation money.
Shell Yeah!, Crabby Paddy & Beachy Keen at Whispering Pines West: Each stay allows two vehicles. Please keep vehicles at your site/designated parking area, off the grass, and follow resort parking rules.
Bottom line: Two vehicles? Easy. More than two? Talk to us before you arrive and we’ll tell you what your options are.
Oh, these are definitely not your Mimi and PaPa's campers.
Both Shell Yeah! and Crabby Paddy are fully set-up stationary resort RV stays—parked, hooked up, stocked and waiting for you. No towing. No leveling. No sewer hoses for you to mess with. You just show up and start vacationing.

Relax- We would never do that to you. WiFi is available, so you can stream, scroll, post vacation pics, write us a review, keep the kids entertained or pretend to check a work email before immediately ignoring it.
Not unless you’re emotionally attached to your own towels. We provide fresh bed linens, bath towels, hand towels, Make Up removal towel and washcloths, plus beach/pool towels for your sandy adventures. Beds are made and ready when you arrive—because nobody should start vacation by wrestling with a fitted sheet.
Pack your swimsuit, clothes and whatever makes you happy. We’ve got the linen situation handled.
Absolutely. Our properties are equipped with appropriate safety essentials such as Keyless entry, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, Fire Blankets and other property-specific safety features. Our Welcome Books also explain the Gulf Shores beach flag system so you know when the Gulf is saying “come on in” and when she’s saying “absolutely not.” And because the Alabama sun has zero chill, we provide sunscreen, ChapStick and aloe vera for those who get a little too confident about their relationship with SPF.
We’ll handle the safety stuff. You handle making good decisions—or at least vacation-level good decisions.
Life happens. So do wet swimsuits, sandy towels and mystery kid stains. Laundry options are available depending on the property, and your listing will tell you exactly what’s available. We can’t make laundry fun, but at least you won’t have to pack your entire closet. Both the glamping units and the beach house have laundry facilities. Shell Yeah! includes a small in-unit washer and dryer, and the RV Resort offers on-site laundry facilities for guest use at $1.50 a load. Resting Beach Face includes a full size washer and dryer. So go on, its ok to get salty AND stinky!
When your tired of too much sand in your crack, our stays include access to the resort/community amenities, including pool(s).
Resting Beach Face has 2 resort style pools. Pool 1 is steps behind the home. Pool 2 is a 60 second walk from the home.
Our Glampers and Beachy Keen Guests have access to the 1 Resort style Zero entry pool.
Please help keep pool days fun and drama-free: We really don't want the HOA knowing who we are on a name by name basis!
Pets are NOT permitted inside the pool areas, pools or clubhouse. You could be fined for violating the regulation. Fines begin at $100 for a first offense, increasing for repeat violations. So as much as your furry freeloader may disagree, this is one vacation activity they have to sit out.
Please follow all posted pool rules and signage while using the facilities.
Nobody under that age of 12 is allowed in the pool area unsupervised.
No Food or Glass in Pool area
No Diapers in pool area. Must have swimmers.
Be respectful of other guests and residents. No Jumping, screaming, and carrying on.....
If you open an umbrella in the pool area, close it and secure it before you leave.
Please clean up after yourself and leave the pool area the way you found it.
Pool hours are from 9am-10:00pm
There are cameras in all pool areas.
Bottom line: Grab the swimsuit, sunscreen and pool towels, behave like somebody raised you, and go enjoy the water.
No Bruce here! No front desk, no check-in line, and nobody side-eyeing whatever questionable ensemble survived the road trip.
We’ll send your check-in instructions before arrival with everything you need. Once you get there, punch in your code, drop the bags and start vacationing.
Messy bun? Pajama pants? Flip-flops with socks? We saw nothing. Your day-driving attire is between you and the interstate.
No mystery math around here. Your nightly rate and any applicable cleaning fees, taxes, pet fees or other property-specific charges are shown before you book—because nobody likes falling in love with a vacation and then getting smacked with a checkout total from another dimension.
Prices vary by property, season and length of stay, so we’ve created a Pricing page to make things easy. Head there for current rates, fees and special offers.
And booking direct? That can save you the extra third-party platform fees. We’d rather you spend that money on seafood, souvenirs and something frozen with an umbrella in it.
Yep! The Wi-Fi is ready even if you aren’t. Resting Beach Face has a dedicated home office with a sit/stand desk, monitor, keyboard and printer, so you can actually get some work done without balancing a laptop on the kitchen counter.
Shell Yeah! and Crabby Paddy have Wi-Fi and comfortable spaces to set up shop, too.
Take the Zoom call. Respond in Teams. Send the email. Look productive. Then shut the laptop and get your butt to the beach. Work-life balance, Gulf Shores style.
We get it- Plans change, kids get sick, bosses suddenly remember you exist, and sometimes life just decides to life.
